3.0 Touring exhibition opportunities and grants
3.1 Touring partnerships for existing exhibitions
3.2 Exhibition development fund grants program
The Exhibition Development Fund grants program is devolved from Arts Victoria to support the development and tour of exhibitions of contemporary art, craft and design, through partnership with an organising institution.
ELIGIBILITY
Applications are welcomed from Victorian exhibiting institutions such as public galleries, craft councils, contemporary art spaces, Aboriginal corporations, universities and other legally constituted professional arts and artists organisations. An individual artist or independent curator should apply through a host institution.
FUNDING
Funding of up to $10,000 can be sought for both exhibition development and exhibition touring costs. The granted amount should be matched in reasonable part by the organising venue, as indicated in the application budget. Funding must be used to offset the genuine development and touring costs, as indicated in the application form available on this site. Preference will be given to support development and touring costs not covered through other funding opportunities.
PROCESS
Applicants must speak with the NETS Victoria office on info@netsvictoria.org or 03 8662 1513, prior to submitting an application. Applications are due annually and the closing date is the beginning of April. The NETS Victoria Committee of Management will consider all applications and successful proposals will be announced and funds distributed in the last week of May.
APPLICATIONS
Applicants should complete the application form available as a downloadable PDF on this site. This should include a detailed budget indicating financial commitment by the host organisation and support material such as images, letters of commitment by hosting galleries and resumes. Click here for Application Forms or contact the Program Coordinator info@netsvictoria.org or 03 8662 1512.
ACQUITTAL
NETS expects that every effort will be made to realise the project as described in the grant application, and that funds granted will be used in accordance with the conditions and for the purposes for which they were granted. In the instance that the project is not realised, the reason for the project not being realised must be provided in writing. The Grant funds spent must be acquitted and the balance returned to NETS Victoria.
