NETS Victoria invites exhibiting organisations to apply for support under the Exhibition Development Fund (EDF) grants program, for the development and touring of contemporary art, craft or design exhibitions to metropolitan and regional Victoria.
EDF grants are available for the development of new touring exhibitions. The funds can be used to assist with research, exhibition checklist development, engaging an independent curator, artists’ fees, loan costs, exhibition design, installation costs, and audience development costs such as publications and education kits.
This annual grants program is administered on behalf of the Community Support Fund of Arts Victoria. It has been developed to ensure that innovative exhibitions are available to audiences in metropolitan and regional Victoria. Some of the touring venues may be interstate.

NETS Victoria is focused on delivering the full package – for audiences, artists and galleries. Our key objective is not to ‘educate the masses’ on the virtues of contemporary art, nor is our mission to be the antidote to the insinuation that the regions are deprived of ‘good art’.
NETS Victoria creates access to the best contemporary art, craft and design for regional audiences. And whilst managing logistics to best practice standard is central to this, our scope is much greater. We ensure audiences enjoy a meaningful engagement with works through a range of learning programs and publications such as scholarly catalogues, room brochures and web-based materials...
